July 2025
Some of the indigent children, beneficiaries of New Life Good Samaritan charities, came forward to express gratitude for free medical or school help received. We were deeply moved by the courage, joy, and thankful hearts of these tender children. How amazing it was to see children come to us, on our return from US, not to ask for bread or handouts, but to say thank you.
For Chief Peter and myself (see the picture) it was a true testimony to the power of compassion, hope, and faith. Their presence reminded us why our Charity Care ministry exists — to bring healing, dignity, renewed life, and joy to those in need. Though they had faced difficult times and were still in need, they showed remarkable strength and resilience, and were living witnesses that with God’s grace and the generosity of others, no challenge is insurmountable, and deep joy can be found on faces of the poor.
That is why we ask you who are interested in alleviating human suffering to join us in this ministry of extending the love of Christ to children of the needy. Every little act of kindness counts. Remember that children once valued and loved, are capable of great things. We need your help to continue to nurture the gifts God has placed within these kids. Let our lives be filled with kindness and the desire to help others, as we ourselves have been helped.
We were proud of those children’s visit, and we thank God for the opportunity to share in their journey toward healing and hope. May the blessings of good health, joy, and success accompany all who make it possible for us to alleviate the pain of little ones. Jesus attaches a blessing to all types of kindness done to little children and promises that we would surely receive a reward from Him for whatever we’ve done to help them.
Fr Eustace.

‘New Life Good Samaritan Charities for Children’: giving succor to the needy.
The “New Life Good Samaritan Charities” a non-governmental organization has as one her objectives to promote the wellbeing of children especially those who live in abject poverty. To realize this project in 2024/2025 various activities have been carried our to uplift and help needy children in different areas of need: education, health, feeding and clothing. About 12 children have received help from this foundation to pay their tuition. This exercise eased off the burden on the parents who lacked the means to pay the tuition of their children. Children who benefitted this kind gesture are from Peculiar Primary and Secondary Schools in Nekede, Owerri, Imo State and St. Mary’s Nursery and Primary School, Amurri, in Enugu State, all in Nigeria.

Other beneficiaries of the Foundation include sick children and women who were unable to pay their hospital bills. Most of the families in the rural areas do not have health insurance and so could not pay for their medical treatment. The foundation has during the time covered by this report provided help to patients who could not pay their hospital bills. We believe by doing this, the Charity foundation goes a long way to give support to sick people for their quick recovery. We call on donors to help the “ New Life Good Samaritan Charities” to continue with this noble work of Charity to humanity. Your donations will go a long way to help many people who are in need. There are still many children who live in abject poverty seeking for help. Let us become good neighbors to them by sharing their burdens.

On Palm Sunday, 2nd of April 2023, at St Anthony Mary Claret Parish in New Owerri Imo State, about 30 Underprivileged Children received cash donations from NEW LIFE GOOD SAMARITAN CHARITIES FOR CHILDREN (NLGS)
It was an amazing event for the kids and their parents that came with them. The Children were cross-examined by members of St Vincent De Paul to ensure that those selected were genuinely in great need of assistance.
The Children expressed deepest gratitude to Very Rev Nath Eke, a Coordinator for NLGS, and the other members for their generosity and love. The event was supervised by Rev Fr Marcellinus Obilo, CMF, and the St Vincent De Paul Society.
In an earlier event in January 2023, Rev Eustace Edomobi, founder of NLGS, on behalf of New Life Good Samaritan Charities, presented a cash donation to Okigwe Catholic Diocese to help the Diocese continue to empower and mentor underprivileged children of needy families.
On January 22, 2023, New Life Good Samaritan Charities provided food and clothing to several young children with emergency financial needs in Umunumo Ehime-Mbano LGA Imo State, Nigeria.
