Preamble
Many children of Destitute Families in Nigeria and other parts of Africa do not have access to basic Health-Care, leading to Thousands of deaths annually from treatable ailments like mal-nutrition, diarrhea, dehydration, malaria, anemia and pneumonia.
Nearly all causes of early childhood deaths are preventable, with availability of funds to enable destitute families provide immediate Health Care Relief to their children when needed.
Generally, children from Indigent families face twice the risk of dying, compared to children of wealthy families, according to “Save the Children” Global Report. Nigeria ranks high on the list of Countries with inadequate medical provision for the well-being of poor families and their children, in 146 Countries surveyed by UNESCO.
New Life Good Samaritan Charities Inc., as Children's Charity, in collaboration with Okigwe Catholic Diocese, Nigeria, and local Churches, is envisioning the day when no children of needy families would die from preventable minor diseases; and when every child would have a safe and healthy childhood through regular Hospital visits and good Education. Together, with your help and by the Grace of God, we can make this happen one child at a time. To be part of this ministry please contact us.
